Infants (6 weeks-12 months)

Our Infant program is designed to give every baby a home away from home. Our infant teachers foster a loving environment that promotes exploration and is individualized to meet every child’s needs. Our infants do not automatically move into the next classroom when they turn one year old, or meet developmental milestones. Instead, they stay with their cohort and teacher for the full school year; giving them the ability to create bonds and connect with their teachers and peers.

Developmentally Appropriate

Our infant teachers are on the floor playing and talking with the children as much as possible. They provide a wide range of experiences and activities designed to stimulate and engage your child in social, emotional, and physical development.

We know that a child’s first year is an integral part of their development. We strive to provide a safe, loving, nurturing environment to promote cognitive and social development now and for their future. As our infant’s home away from home, the teachers snuggle, rock, and play with infants in our care to create secure attachment bonds.

Babies grow and develop rapidly and at their own rate. Our teachers are educated in developmental milestones and curate toys and activities specifically for the children in their classroom. Using Healthy Beginnings as a guide, the teachers observe the infants in their care effectively communicating the progression of developmental milestones with parents and guardians. Intake meetings with quarterly updates ensure timely communication and monitoring of all developmental milestones.
