Toddlers

Ages 12m-2 years

Our toddler program separates children based on ages and developmental milestones. Teachers engage each child in age appropriate activities to promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Through the use of ASL our children develop communication skills early in life, allowing them to effectively communicate to familiar adults. As our toddlers grow, teachers continue to emphasize ASL while encouraging oral language skills.

At Embark, we believe that early intervention services give children the best start in life. All of our faculty are trained to look for signs of developmental delay and we partner with a variety of agencies to help parents find services, deliver services, and help teachers meet the needs of every child in their care.

Why Choose Embark for Your Toddler?

Curriculum

Weekly themes allow even our littlest learners to explore the world around them. Using a multi-sensory approach our faculty guide the children to engage in their own social, emotional, and cognitive learning journey.

Classroom Placements

Placements are determined by age and developmental ability. In order to maintain the integrity of our preschool program, children turning two after the school year has begun are not automatically moved into a twos classroom. It is important for both the child’s social and emotional growth and our academic program to keep all children in consistent cohorts.

Community

Being a working parent is difficult. We are here to support you, connect you to other working parents, and offer parent seminars to help you through the most difficult parts of parenting. In addition to cultivating a strong school community, we offer community and social action events to engage with the larger community.

Engage their
growing curiosity

Childhood is messy! Children use all of their senses to learn about their world and make important language, visual, and cognitive connections. At Embark expect your child to come home with creations and experiences that are truly as unique as they are.
